"Come Away with Me"

1 Corinthians #36 in series


 

Good Morning~

What does the Lord have to do to get your attention?  Sometimes, he awakens me from a dead sleep.  The other night I woke up, and after trying all of my best insomnia cures, I decided perhaps the Lord had something to say to me, and I ought get up and give him my attention.  And so, I found myself in my downstairs office at 4.20 a.m., looking toward the ceiling, saying, 'Lord?'  Almost immediately, I had the sense that he just wanted me to be with him . . . 'O, you're always doing, can't you just be with me?' And so, I played a beautiful worship song, and sat in his presence . . . it was sweet.  It was needed.  'Anything else, Lord?' 'Yes, why don't you help others learn to 'just be' with me?'  'Surely, Lord. And thank you, Lord.'

The Lord would say the same thing to you:  "Come Away with Me, Child~"   So I invite you to print this out, grab a pen, and spend time with God.
