Born in the Summer of 2008, this ministry
“caters” to company presidents,
chief executive officers, and business owners,
who wish to make their company a kingdom-based
business, and to keep God as the priority
in both their corporate and personal lives.
What does this look like?
There are several components—weekly
Bible study time at the company site; daily
Scriptural e-mails to company personnel (for
those who are open to receiving emails), additional
weekly 30-minute conference-call prayer meetings,
and the availability of a company pastor to
minister to the spiritual needs of the employees.
These ‘spiritual needs’ might
include hospital visits, funerals, encouragement
at difficult times etc.
Business leaders ought to see their daily
work as ministry, filled with opportunities
to point people to God. As a Corporate pastor,
for such a time as this, I sharpen and challenge
business leaders with Biblical wisdom, and
help them foster a corporate climate that
makes God known, as well as encouraging employees
to feel honored and esteemed.
Fees for Corporate pastoral care are set on
a case-by-case basis.
